Jeff’s transition into the world of athletic insurance came in January of 2005 after enjoying a long career in intercollegiate sports administration. Jeff worked 12 years with the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) serving as Director of Membership Services. During those years, he developed an acute understanding of the day-to-day challenges an intercollegiate sports program faces and the specific services they require.
Jeff currently consults with colleges and universities to develop insurance programs that meet the needs of the institution. His true expertise is in the development of insurance programs that are, at times, considered unique and fall outside general insurance concepts. Jeff has helped to develop programs that include fully-insured plans, aggregate deductible (partially self-funded) plans, fully self-insured plans and group consortium concepts.
From January 2005 through November 2010 Jeff was Vice President of Marketing for Intercollegiate Sports Programs with Summit America Insurance Services. While at Summit America Jeff was involved with the development and implementation of various athletic association programs that include “The NAIA Program” and the “NCAA Group Insurance Program” to name a few.
In December of 2010 Jeff joined Specialty Insurance Solutions as Vice President and Principal Partner of the company. Jeff received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Economics from Northwestern Oklahoma State University. He is currently licensed and appointed to transact life, accident, health, property and casualty lines of business.
